Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day or Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae wo Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai is an original anime that aired between Apr 15, 2011 to Jun 24, 2011. Anohana follows a teenager named Jinta who suddenly begins seeing his friend that passed away years before, Menma. Turns out she hasn't passed on fully because her wish hasn't been granted yet, and so Jinta gathers his old friends Poppo, Naruko, Yukiatsu and Chiriko in order to grant Menma's wish so she can move on, and so that they can as well. It's pretty damn popular still, being notoriously known for being extremely sad, which it is I can confirm. It's not a perfect show, but it's still pretty damn good. I do recommend you watch it, just after you watch my video (daddy needs his $ income).
