2014 में प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने सांसद आदर्श ग्राम योजना की शुरुआत की थी. अभिनेत्री और मथुरा लोकसभा सीट की मौजूदा सांसद हेमा मालिनी ने रावल गांव को गोद लिया था. गांव वालों का कहना है कि शुरुआती सालों में तो कुछ काम हुए, लेकिन उसके बाद सांसद ने उनके गांव को नज़रअंदाज किया.
