Night deployment of the special operations group “Olad Team” of the Third Assault Brigade to carry out a combat task in the Avdiivka direction. Footage of combat and comments from operation participants captured by night vision devices. The fighters are setting out to the location in Avdiivka, where it is necessary to flush out the enemy. The territory of the garage cooperative is half controlled by the enemy. After spreading out into sectors, the fighters opened fire.
Later on, the task is updated: it is necessary to destroy the enemy’s covers to create a buffer zone between the enemy infantry and our positions. The fighters successfully accomplish it, razing the opponents’ concentration point where the enemy concentrated forces for assault actions. As a result of the fire raid, nearly 10 occupiers were also destroyed.
After that, groups of fighters relocate to the single-family residential area of Orlivka to reinforce the positions of adjacent units in order to repel the enemy assault. Battles were waged in half-ruined houses of the village. The occupiers attempted to flank, but promptly reacting to the threat, the fighters halted the enemy’s attempt with gunfire. As a result, enemy losses amounted to nearly 30 personnel, with over 10 been eliminated during the small arms combat.
"“I’m satisfied with the boys. Many of them had no combat experience. There even was an 18-year-old fighter, who showed himself very cool,” – the platoon sergeant summed up the results of the night raid.
