Originally composed as a tribute to the steamer Eastland (    • The Full Story of the Eastland Disast...   ) in 1911 by S.J. Monck. The Eastland was a Great Lakes pleasure steamer, plagued with problems and dangerously top-heavy. In 1915, the ship rolled onto her side on the Chicago River at her wharf killing 844 people.

Sheet music from my own collection and describes the ship during happier days. Arranged and recorded by my friends Tess and J. Kent Layton for my documentary "The Full Story of the Eastland Disaster (1915)". Animations were also produced for the documentary, animated by Alex Moeller in Unreal Engine 5. This recording is copyright HFX Studios and cannot be re-used without permission.
