If all the colors of all the gym clothes you buy match in some way, it gives you a lot more outfit options. I usually wear a hat on those days where I’m lifting heavy and just want to stay focused with no interruptions. No eye contact, no invite. If you’re nervous, or uncomfortable in the gym then a hat to cover your eyes is a good idea too.

You need to dedicate clothes to the gym. You sweat in them, they get dirty, yellow easily, and you’ll have a ton more laundry if you don’t. The most popular inseam for shorts right now is 5”. That’s the length that will usually give you that little bit of thigh action, so you can see your leg pumps.

Just like any other clothes, all brands don’t fit the same. Watch reviews, read reviews, try shit on, don’t just buy it blindly. Don’t be shy or self conscious about your body. Go in there, and act like you own the place. It’s not about looking good for other people, it’s about looking good for yourself.
