El asedio de Jerusalén por Tito tenía como objetivo destruir todo reducto judío que se opusiese al dominio romano, y para ello movilizó una gran cantidad de legionarios con la idea de asaltar los muros de Jerusalén y retomar la ciudad.

Sin embargo, el sitio de Jerusalén por los romanos no sería tarea fácil. ¿Sabes cuánto duró el asedio de Jerusalén? Tres meses, semanas de continuos asaltos fallidos pero que poco a poco ganaban terreno a los rebeldes.

Con persistencia, tuvo lugar la caída de Jerusalén, que fue cuando se destruyó Jerusalén pues gran cantidad de casas tuvieron que ser derribadas para poder mover todas las máquinas de asedio, así para construir las rampas.
