Global CEO and Managing Director of Tata Steel, TV Narendran, has recently visited Port Talbot steelworks to see the proposed location of a new 3.2 million tonne electric arc furnace, which will be part of the jointly funded low-CO2 steelmaking investment by Tata Steel and the UK Government as well as visiting and talking with the teams who are working hard to make it happen.
