Before heading to the Carolina Hurricanes, former UND forward Jackson Blake capped off his collegiate career on Friday by attending the Hobey Baker award ceremony in St. Paul during Frozen Four weekend. Blake is the seventh Hobey Hat Trick finalist for UND since the 1999-2000 season. Blake signed a three-year, entry-level contract with the Hurricanes on Tuesday and was named an All American today.

Blake reflects on a remarkable two seasons at North Dakota which included winning the NCHC Rookie of the Year award last season, followed with Player of the Year in the conference last month. He also became the first sophomore at UND to reach the century club since Zach Parise. Blake finishes his UND career with 102 points.
