This is one if not the main question I am asked about the vent of a Rinnai noncondensing or a condensing heater.
Quick and simple if it has just the one vent in the middle of the heater its a noncondensing unit and if it has two connections on the top center and to the left if a condensing unit.
1/ non condensing unit the vent will have the white outer shell and the silver metal inner core. The box with the venting will say for noncondensing units only.
2/ condensing the unit will have two connections on the top center and to the left. The center will be used for the concentric vent leaving the cap on the left on. the left side will be used for the fresh air when using the two pipe system.
I have other video's on venting.
Please e mail me at [email protected] you have any questions.
I hope you enjoy this video.
