Unfortunately My BMW Carbon Mirror Cap developed a nasty defect, and it was letting the car down, so I went ahead and bought the exact same genuine BMW Carbon Wing Mirrors from Ebay. I then chose what I think is the easiest to apply ceramic coating on the market to protect them, with the hope that they last a little longer than the previous one did. I can’t guarantee this will permanently stop them from developing clear-coat failure but it will sure as hell protect them from the elements for a long time.
