Every year, the National Comedy Theatre presents our special Valentine's Day performance called House of Cards. In the show, one audience member can "sue" their significant other for a trivial reason. We play the legal team and the audience is the jury. At the end, the loser of the case has to beg forgiveness of the winner. On February 14, 2014, Chris, our plaintiff, used that opportunity to propose to his girlfriend, Erica after losing the case. We had it set up without her knowledge in advance and about 20 of her friends and family were secretly in the audience. Fortunately, she said yes.
