It was during this time in the late 1970's that many NFL teams were either adding cheerleading squads to their team or for those teams who already had a squad, uniforms were being changed to a more sexier style. For those of you who are wondering about the second woman from the right, that is Phyllis Wanger, aka "Pom Pom Mom", one of the squads "Embraceable Ewes" (that was the cheerleaders squad name), who at the time was 58 years old.
