Part 1 of 2: This weeks video is by far the most important one of my career. An interview with Oswego County's most influential part of its agricultural history. Dale came to use in 1970 as a Cornell University extension agent and we have never been the same. He worked with many growers implementing many new industry-changing ideas. Dale has been a personal mentor for myself, brother, father and many others. Growing up I knew from the day I can remember I was born to farm. As a 10 year old boy whenever I had questions about my quarter acre farm (garden) Dale was my go-to. Asking questions like "when should I plant my sweet corn?" Dale's response was "when you can sit bare-ass on the ground for five minutes then the soil temps are ready". He has changed Oswego County agriculture and its future forever! Thank you Dale for all you have given!
