Since 2010, the Autism Speaks Canada Community Grants program has awarded over $4.8 million to 198 projects across the country. In 2021, $23,000 was awarded to Autism Yukon in Whitehorse, Yukon Territory to fund the evidence-based PEERS social skills program.
The Autism Speaks Canada Community Grants program is now accepting applications from organizations for 2023. The deadline to apply is September 15th, 2023.

This year, the program has been structured to focus on addressing the social inclusion of autistic Canadians and their caregivers, specifically focusing on physical and emotional safety and community participation. Grants range from $15,000 to $30,000.
