Doing oil changes when you have a magnetic drain plug is a little bit trickier since you want to hold onto the plug, without letting it fall into the pan. Not to mention getting oil all over your hands, which isn't a big deal normally, but when you do your oil changes while on break from work, and your work is in software, last thing you want is to have dirty oily hands all over your laptop or keyboard. I figured there had to be something out there to help with this and after a quick search, found this Craftsman Drain Plug Removal Tool.

After buying the tool from Amazon (link below), I decided to make this vid to show if it works and is worth getting. As we find out and as is often the case, the answer to that is, 'it depends'.
