I don’t feel like celebrating anything, or worthy of being honored for anything. This is merely a gift for our true heroes. I was granted the James Joyce Award by the Literary and Historical Society of University College Dublin in Ireland. It is the highest award that an Irish University society can give. I dedicated it to the Palestinian Journalists who have been murdered as well as those still alive giving voices and faces to the resilient people of Gaza. This is for you Wael Aldahdouh, Motaz Azaiza, Hind Khoudary, Bisan Odeh, Wissam Nassar, Lama Jamous, and countless others. All of their names have been attached to the award.
