For the first time ever, the BMW M3 is now being offered with xDrive! The AWD M3 Competition really helps put the power down with a quite advanced system that can send torque where needed for grip, but can still go to 2WD mode for some tail-happy shenanigans. We recently had the change to take a very bright Sao Paulo Yellow around the track at Road America...but it was pouring rain. Perfect chance to see how the AWD system would handle itself, I definitely didn't push the car to its limits, but I am also fairly certain the already ridiculous RWD version of the M3/M4 would have seriously struggled with traction in these situations without xDrive. Would you get your M3 Comp in xDrive? I think its absolutely a step in the right direction, especially with the ability to go back to pure RWD mode!
