Daniel Ruettiger (nicknamed "Rudy") harbored a dream to play for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish football team. After tremendous hard work, and despite being undersized, Rudy earned a place on the Notre Dame scout team. The movie Rudy (1993) tells his story of never giving up on a dream. He is now an award winning motivational speaker.
