I bought onion plants online from Dixondale Farms. They come in bundles of 100 but you really get around 120 good sized ones and around 10 really skinny ones in a bundle. We planted the really skinny ones last year, those onions grew to the size of ping pong balls.

We planted two bundles of intermediate day Candy onions which are sweet. We planted one bundle of long day Red Zeppelin which are supposed to be longer storing for winter use.
