In 1972 W5 examined an incident that occurred on a flight from Churchill, Manitoba to Yellowknife.

The captain of a passenger plane spotted an object flying alongside his craft for a full two minutes. He estimates the object was traveling at over “3000 miles per hour” before it “disappeared.”

Twelve passengers and a crew of three were onboard. W5 spoke with eyewitnesses.
