We caught more than a couple of nice brook trout from an unnamed Canadian backwoods lake we've called "Puddle Lake!" It only took us 5 hours to navigate there overland this time! For anyone that doesn't know about this lake, 2 years ago, we followed the creek system up from the headwaters with loaded canoes in hopes of monster brook trout in this hidden gem of a lake. We never hooked into any monsters, but we had the lake to ourselves!
