Ride onboard with me for my first taste of the Ultimate Karting Championship at Rowrah last weekend as practice ahead of the MSA British Kart Championship later on in the year.

This is the final of that race weekend, in which we were very fast despite there being lots of grip on track, a problem I previously struggled with. This being very apparent in the final by setting the fastest lap of the race.

Starting from P8 in this race due to a large mistake on my behalf in the pre-final made it hard work on such a narrow and close quarters track with such a competitive sharp end of the field, but chose my overtakes wisely to get to P2. Had I started further up I feel I would have put up a great fight for the win. Regardless, very happy with the result and looking forward to next time.
