In this video I discuss some recent events, upcoming projects and clear a new trail. The weather was fantastic on this day and I had a blast! These Ryobi tools have been perfect for the size trees we’re dealing with on the property and have been a great asset. The batteries don’t love the cold, which I mention in the video, but now that we know it, we can make any necessary adjustments.

Hauling water for the chestnut trees has been a bit of a pain so we’re very excited to start harvesting and storing rainwater. We have a lot of ideas for application of harvested rainwater, so this first project will be very insightful and a great learning experience.

The White Duck bell tents have been better than expected and we’re eager to share more of our experiences with them. They are so sturdy, breathe great and are very roomy for the whole family. The biggest learning curve has been the wood burning stoves but we’re quickly figuring them out!

Overall, it has been a great 2022 and the projects we have lined up for 2023 has us pumped to keep rolling!
