comes exclusively as the 6 speed 3 pedal format which is completely fine and leaves room in the Integra lineup to do an automatic
What that auto is we don’t know yet
The Type R will have a nice shirt notchy throw as it usually does with a pretty light clutch pedal as well as auto rev-matching
It also gets a lighter flywheel

Dynamics:

Revised helical LSD up front and FWD
Magically no torque steer
19 inch wheels
4 piston brembo brakes are lighter for less unsprung weight
Rather than the Conti set on the old car you get Michelin PS4S
Those tires are also 20mm wider for more contact patch and grip
Also not having a AWD saves weight and gets you less drivetrain loss
Revised adaptive damper
They’ve also made changes to the EPS rack to improve steering feel


Exterior:

While Honda didn’t completely reinvent the wheel with this new Type R, they did fix the big problem I, and a lot of others, had with it
The completely over the top styling
Now it’s much more subtle
It does look more like the normal civic than the last gen looked like the normal Civic
Still red honda badge in grille
Lower front grille
Air curtains
Same dual 5 spokes
Still a big wing out back, but more scaffolding style
Tri-tips

Interior:

This is probably the most drastic and best-improved part of the car
The old interior was fine, but it was kinda cheap and entirely made of red
This design feels more mature, more expensive, better
Somehow they added more red with full red seats and red carpets
But not on the back seat
Only 2 rear seats
Wireless car play
Full digital cluster
Ambient lighting
NO heated seats….

No 360 camera
