Part 3 - Chief goes to the Infinity ship and on the way he encounters a request for help from Commander Lasky and moves towards them. Along the way, Cortana's failure becomes more and more apparent. Moving forward, we find out that the Covenant and the Prometheans have united with each other and are trying to enter the Infinity ship. After a heavy battle, the Didact finally retreats. After meeting the ship's captain, Del Rio is told that Infinity's mission is to study the rings and disable them. They went to Installtions 5 and 3, but they eventually broke, but it seems the research team eventually came across something made by the Forerunner. Now Captain Del Rio plans to get Infinity out of the planet Requiem, but Chief insists that the Didact is dangerous and must be fought, but Chief and Cortana's efforts seem futile. It remains to be seen what will happen.
