Due to the digitization of everyday things, humans and their surroundings are exposed to visible and invisible computers that continuously collect and share data. As a result, it is almost impossible for users and bystanders to understand these complex data sharing models along with their implications for privacy.
In this talk, I will present current trends in human-centric privacy research along with a series of lessons learned to make privacy understandable and effective for everyone.
