What's up y'all & Welcome back to my channel. Today, I'm going to compare two ride cymbals from Paiste on their PST (Paiste Sound Technology) line. I just gotten this 20" PST 7 Ride Cymbal in the mail today at guitarcenter.com used in excellent condition, & it pretty much cost me about $105, which is not a bad price. The 20" PST 7 Ride Cymbal is a medium-weight cymbal. It is bright, warm, and distinct. Medium wide range, clean mix. Even a well controllable feel. Defined, slightly silvery ping over a clean wash. Clear, strong bell sound. Very versatile ride for multiple applications.

On the other hand, I have this 20" PST 8 Medium Ride Cymbal, which I bought along with a cymbal set I bought from eBay 7 months ago. The 20" Paiste PST 8 Reflector Medium Ride Cymbal is bright, full, and warm. Medium range, clean mix. Balanced feel. Clear ping with clean, shimmering wash. A versatile ride cymbal for a wide musical range.

I hope you all enjoy this comparison video of these two paiste ride cymbals.
