British actor born in Northern Ireland, Ray Stevenson, starred in a wide range of blockbuster movies and TV series throughout his impressive career. He appeared in Marvel films as Volstagg in the Thor film trilogy and Frank Castle AKA The Punisher: War Zone, as well as Marcus Eaton in the Divergent series.
Stevenson also had starring roles in The Three Musketeers remake and 2004’s King Arthur, along with a string of TV shows, including Dexter, Waking The Dead. Star Wars: The Clone Wars and HBO series Rome.
Stevenson died on 21 May 2023 at the age of 58 while filming Cassino in Ischia in Italy, four days before his 59th birthday.
