Nintendo Switch Joycons are notorious for having drifting issue. We have 2 pairs and the left joycons on both started drifting after 2 years of use.

If your joycon is still in warranty, you have an option to send it back to Nintendo and they will fix it for free. Others were able to have Nintendo fix theirs though even when they’re out of warranty but others were refused.

This solution is your best option if you need to fix the issue yourself.

We also recommend fully disconnecting the battery as opposed to what was actually shown in the video. This is safer for your joycon.
