What If Naruto Was A Prodigy?

You know, one of the things we love most about Naruto is that he’s kind of a dope. At first, he never seemed to get anything right, he was just plain unintelligent… well… he had intelligence in his own way, but definitely outside of conventional smarts. He really raised himself. He seemed to be missing that gene. That gene that would have been passed down by both Minato and Kushina. Minato’s strength and prodigious nature, and Kushina’s smarts. In the end, he was left with whatever WASN’T prodigious. Well, I mean he caught up. But that was through luck and a little Rock Lee style hard work. Rock Lee himself lacks a prodigious nature, and merely grows due to his desire to be as strong as someone like Neji. So, here I sit and wonder what would have happened if Naruto’s genes were a little shaken up. What if he had been born a prodigy? Someone with incredible potential that was easily fulfilled due to his natural abilities and smarts? Well, that is what I want to find out today, fam. Sit down and kick off your open-toed Ninja shoes, we’re going to do a little gene editing.
