AFC Wimbledon represent the reformation of an historic London football club, who’s incredible tradition and reputation famously beating Liverpool in the FA cup final in 1988. AFC Wimbledon and Plough Lane were a staple of London football until the 1991 Taylor Report forced the club to move to Selhurst Park.

In 2002, the club was moved to Milton Keynes, the first move of its kind in English football, ripping the heart out of the community.

AFC Wimbledon supporters responded in 2002 forming their own Phoenix club. Over the years AFC Wimbledon rose the divisions, and is now on par with MK Dons in League one. This year, after years of funding, the mighty AFC Wimbledon have returned to Plough Lane, bringing this historic club back to its natural home after over 20 years.
