This is the END of the "morning death knock" story! This poor little creampuff had a head gasket leak for a YEAR while the owner kept adding FUEL INJECTOR CLEANER TO EACH GAS FILL UP! Eventually, he started carrying coolant and a funnel, too, and finally gave up when the rod knock started. Very sad =(

UPDATE: It went to a VERY loving home, a local Prius guy like me who is going to put an engine in it and enjoy the next 100,000 miles =)
