As electric vehicles are relatively new to the market, there are many bugs and fatly elements that can lead to living you without a car for many months. One of the most common error that people are complaining is : Error: electrical system. Park vehicle!
As this is usually in the high voltage system most of the dealership will not have qualified engineers to analyze and fix the problem so the car needs to go to the factory. This will leave you at least for 3-6 mounts without a car and the problem may be in a fuse for example. It will be worst if the car is not under warranty - you have to pay a lot for transportation. Using OBDeleven or other OBD2 dongle can give you some very useful information where the problem may be and then you can figure it out if you fix it by yourself or contact some authorized service.
