Sometimes you need to add leading zeros in Excel but the zeros keep disappearing. For example like this: 00256. This could be for zip codes, security numbers or employee IDs. But if you ever tried to enter something like that in Excel you'll quickly learn that Excel automatically removes leading zeros from numbers. In this video I'll show you a quick solution on how to get this done in Microsoft Excel.
