Hey there, beekeeping buddies! š I'm here to show you a nifty trick to tackle those pesky small hive beetles that just won't leave. Remember the Apiguard treatment we did three days ago? The bees are taking well to it, so now we're back to treat the same hive for Small Hive Beetles.
What's our secret weapon, you ask? It's the trusty beetle trap oil! I'll give you the lowdown ā shake it up to mix the oil and bait, use the applicator to place it in the hive, and voila! No more messy spills.
As we check the hives, you might notice some uninvited ant guests ā but fret not, they won't disrupt the bee party. Let's get these traps set up, keep an eye on those beetles, and maybe even learn a thing or two.
