My youngest daughter and I took a trip out to the Guadalupe Mountains over Labor Day weekend to get out of the heat and to do some off road driving and camping in the Lincoln National Forest. After following a dead-end trail in the desert west of the mountains, we set up camp along a forest service road and enjoyed the cooler weather and spectacular views!
