- Harry Osborn has exited New York after Peter Parker shamed him out of his former identity as the Rose
- Mary Jane has returned to New York City and entered a relationship with Peter Parker
- Flash Thompson & Robbie Robertson have reentered the main cast after Daredevil & the Black Cat's departure
- J. Jonah Jameson has resigned from the Daily Bugle, and Thomas Fireheart has assumed his role as the new editor-in-chief
- Eddie Brock has entered the series
- New clips have been added to reflect the season's events
