Hey everyone! I didn't feel much like talking when I filmed this video so I thought I'd try something new which is just a sort of short video of me cutting and installing this skirt to go onto carpeted stairs. Hopefully it's enjoyable for you!

I picked up some more DeWalt batteries for this project. I've really enjoyed the freedom of eliminating a lot of chords on a jobsite. If you're looking to get a similar circular saw and jig saw here are some links to where you can find them. Please know though that I am affiliated with Amazon and will receive a small commission from the purchase of the items at no additional cost to you, which is pretty cool. I don't really know how Amazon pulls of this magic but here we all are living in this world.

I don't usually have to do skirt this way. Typically, there is a 1" ~ gap between the stairs themselves and the wall where you can slide whole pieces of 1x12 in without much issue. But, when that isn't the case this is one of the easiest ways I've found to do this.

Also, just in case you are looking for a good book series I thought I'd recommend my favorite! The Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan/Brandon Sanderson is an incredible fantasy series spanning 15 books. It's a hum dinger of a read, but it was so much fun to discover! I feel like this book makes you have to go and tell other people about it, so, here's an innocent little link to the first three books of the series in case you want to read them!
