Rather than competing head-on with Ford and RAM, Chevy decided to go in a different direction with the new ZR2, focusing on a better balance of daily driver practicality, towing and hauling ability, and off-road durability. This means the tried and true 6.2L V8 is under the hood and there's no wide-body treatment making this easier to park at the office. (Or in your garage) If you want to go to the next level, Chevy makes it easy with a body capable of 35 inch tires right from the factory, standard front and rear lockers (in addition to 4WD Auto mode), and plenty of torque from the V8.
