This is for the first time I threaded my barrel by myself. Usually I sent them to a gunsmith.

I'm happy with the result. I have learned some mistake I did and hopefully I will do much better next time. I don't have experience on this, so if I can do it, I'm sure you can do it, too. Keep in mind the video is on fast mode during the process, so you will see I turned the tool so fast.

My gun is Remington Remington 783, 30-06. Thread that I made is 5/8"-24. Common threading size for rifle. If you want to try your first time, you may want to do it on budget friendly rifle.
