Sabrina Siddiqui, a political reporter for the Guardian US, discusses the challenges of being a Muslim reporter under a Donald Trump presidency, and why diverse voices are needed now more than ever. Siddiqui was part of a live panel hosted by the Columbia Journalism Review, in partnership with the Guardian and Reuters. The event, called 'Covering Trump: what happens when journalism, politics and fake news collide', was held at the Columbia Journalism School on 3 March 2017.
