I was quite pleasantly surprised with the fish filet sandwiches from Arby's. The crispy fish sandwich cost me only $1 with a coupon and was well worth it. Even at the regular price of $3.99, I enjoyed it more than the $3.99 Filet-o-fish sandwich from McDonald's.
The King's Hawaiian fish deluxe sandwich was also a joy to eat. It was extremely messy but in the end, it was finger lickin' good. The super soft, sweet and delicate Hawaiian bun from King's really comes through and really compliments the tangy tartar sauce and brings the whole sandwich to a nice balance, although a tad bit less tartar sauce probably wouldn't hurt.
Arby's fish sandwiches are definitely a force to be reckoned with, and in the end of this whole fast food fish sandwich battle, it just might be Arby's and Culver's duking it out for the top spot. Stay tuned to find out...
