Gas company shut off gas!! No heat!! 4 Service Calls Later Still NOT on!! WOW!! Why???

Gas company dug up incoming pipe to building. Never reconnected it to the existing meters that were online and working at the time. Gas company told customer to hire plumber to do pressure check and pay for it. Advised customer that gas company should be responsible for this and should take care of it for them. Saved them some money again!!
