The new 2024 Mercedes CLE emerges as a sleek two-door luxury coupe, blending elements of the former C-class and E-class variants. With a footprint reminiscent of the old C-class coupe, this newly introduced model combines a stylish design with advanced technology and potent powertrains. The interior of the CLE Coupe maintains the luxury expected from Mercedes-Benz. While the general layout is shared with the C-class and GLC-class, the front seats are uniquely designed for the CLE-class. Notably, these seats glide forward for convenient rear-seat access, a feature activated by a leather strap. Standard amenities include seat heating, 64-color ambient lighting, and a 17-speaker Burmester sound system. Customization options range from vinyl upholstery to luxurious Nappa leather. In terms of space, the CLE Coupe offers more front legroom compared to the C-class and E-class coupes, finding a comfortable middle ground in rear legroom. The 14.8 cubic-foot trunk is a notable improvement over the outgoing C-class coupe. The infotainment system of the CLE Coupe is a technological powerhouse. A 12.3-inch digital gauge display handles traditional cluster duties, complemented by an 11.9-inch central touchscreen running the latest MBUX software. While the steering wheel's touch-sensitive controls may pose a learning curve, the system also responds to voice commands with the prompt "Hey Mercedes." Standard connectivity features encompass Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Safety is a priority in the CLE-class, equipped with standard features like automated emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, and a driver-attention monitor. Opting for the Driver Assistance Package enhances safety measures with adaptive cruise control and blind-spot monitoring.
