Director's Statement: I first met Ole Kassow in the spring of 2018 when he was selected as one of the subjects of a commercial campaign I was hired to direct. Through the process of getting to know Ole and the organization he founded, Cycling Without Age, I found myself thinking over and over again about a conversation the two of us had about “the obituary test”. Ole told me that years ago he decided to live his life every day in a way that would make the world a better place, to do good, to help others - all in order to pass "the obituary test". I asked Ole what he meant by that and he said, “What will they say about you and what you did when you’re gone?”

Almost 7 months after filming with Ole I found myself returning again and again to the material we captured and decided that I needed to make something about the work Ole and Cycling Without Age are doing. The world needs more people like Ole and so I hope that this short piece celebrates him and his efforts - and inspires others to live with purpose.
