Video Recap of my weekend at the 2022 Huntington Beach Motosurf and Rickter - RRP Freeride Exhibition event. After a long two year hiatus thanks to the big Kootie outbreak.. Racing and Freeride action came back on the south side of the Huntington Beach Pier! This was a challenging weekend, having suffered a bad ankle sprain while training in Oceanside two days before the event. With limited mobility and extreme sensitivity to weight bearing & pivoting, I had to find a way through each moto. I raced Vintage 550 Open class on my old boss and good friend Gordon Oelker's @PJS_USA 550. I raced Am ski Lites class on my @TCfreeride spec lites superjet, and did the best I could to not further destroy my ankle during the freeride exhibition on my Dasa Powered 950cc TC Freeride Built Rickter EDGE. I couldn’t have made it through the weekend without the help from Athletic trainer Kelly Hudson, my Wife Kaley, friends, sponsors, and family support.
