The Squier Bass VI is surprisingly the best guitar for djent, thall, metalcore and any low tuned metal subgenre. Given that modern metalcore and deathcore is tuned lower, using this bass as a guitar actually works better than an 8 string or 9 string guitar. When learning how to write a metalcore song, it's important to have the instrument for the job, and I believe this @fender is the right guitar for detuned metal. I comfortable go to Double Drop B, C# and even lower with thicker strings, to accomplish a similar Darko US sound, or Loathe.
