Cruising the canal on my floating home, I'm heading towards Marple, moving off the Macclesfield canal and onto the Upper peak forest canal. I moor up, and wow, what great views, and wildlife too! My neighbours are goslings and ducklings. My floating garden needs attention, so I head off to the garden centre next to the canal to get some spring fresh plants. Back at the boat I get planting. A family of grebes face danger, as a heron lands near-by, and has its eyes on the young grebes. Its hungry!
