A graduate of Barnard College and Yale University, Bryna Kranzler is the author of The Accidental Anarchist, which is based on the diaries her grandfather kept during the Russo-Japanese War. The book recently won The "USA Best Books of 2011" Award for a Historical Biography.

About TEDx, x = independently organized event
