Two thoroughbred race cars roared down our historic raceway today to mark 75 years since the first Wigram Airfield Circuit Race in 1949.
A brand-new Toyota Gazoo Racing FT-60 New Zealand Grand Prix car lined up alongside Graham McRae’s 1972 Leda GM-1 Chev Formula 5000 racer for a run to mark Wigram's special anniversary.
Car #22 is the very same car in which Graham McRae won the Lady Wigram Trophy in 1972.
